PITTSBURGH '08 ROMANTIC TIMES BOOKLOVERS CONVENTION HIGHLIGHTS |
With more than 125 fun and educational workshops, over 450 authors and
parties galore, this year's event was simply SPECTACULAR! A huge THANK YOU
to convention director Jo Carol Jones, the entire volunteer staff and
especially our resident photographer, Patty Harrison, who worked tirelessly
to capture the magic of the week!

Convention Anniversary
These life-size figures of Kathryn and Ken, snapshots taken in the early
'90s, were a big hit for conventioneers, who used them for photo ops.
Bertrice Small (above) and Heather Graham (below) gave moving tributes to RT and Kathryn and presented her with the Romance Legend Award.
E-Book, Independent Publisher & Multimedia Expo
Fans lined up to meet authors and publishers.
Ellora's Cave had nonstop visitors as readers and authors flocked to meet them.
Author Melissa Jackson was among 100 authors eager to meet fans.
Resplendence was among the many publishers showcasing at the expo.
Ellora's Cave Party
Food, fantasy and fun was on the menu for the 2008 Ellora's Cave Party, and Old Hollywood was the theme, with celebs
like Lucy, Marilyn and other glitterati in the house. The Cavemen entertained guests and also escorted some 125 EC authors onstage for introductions. Paparazzi lined the red
carpet as guests entered the walkway of stars.
