Born and raised in Rhode Island, Tara Gelsomino graduated from Syracuse University in 1996 with a dual degree in English and Magazine Journalism. She moved to the Manhattan area in 1997 and has worked as an editor and freelancer for several publications, including Unique Homes, SAM, Link, Syracuse Magazine and most recently, Romantic Times. A total pop culture junkie, Tara enjoys reading (she's partial to contemporary and paranormal romances), surfing the web, and fantasizing about starring in a Broadway musical.
