Ok, so I might be a little confused...but I have a bad feeling that I'm not. I know in the first August Brothers book that apparently the oldest falls for a woman, but he shares her with his other two brothers, which is fine, I've read books like this before. But...then the other two brothers end up finding their own woman...and it looks like it's basically an orgy family. Do all the brothers still share their women?? Even though they apparently marry them? I find if that's true then this series would be a little hard for me to grasp. I can handle 3somes with brothers or a friend, but not through-out the family when everyone has a wife.

| Yep, sounds like you pretty much have this down! I was surprised that I liked them when I read them. I felt like you before I read them, but after...I loved them. Without going into too much spoiler territory, they do end up "on their own", so to speak. Still, if you like Lora Leigh, to me, this is one of the best series she wrote. I would love it if she would bring them up more in the Nauti series (the MacKay's are August cousins, I believe). |

I was shocked when I started reading the Men of August but then as you keep on reading the series you understand why they are the way they are. And like Kyle mentioned about "they do end up on their own."
I love the Nauti series. _________________ Ciao,

Hmm, so let me ask this, in the second book when Brock hooks up with Sarah, does Cade also sleep with Sarah and do we know how Marly felt about this? Does this also happen in the third book where we have Cade/Marly and Brock/Sarah, do both Brock and Cade still sleep with Sams Heather?
I'm just trying to get a better picture of what I would be in for. I know I guessed it would be like a family orgy thing, but I suppose what I'm wanting to know is if in the second and third book we're to just to see the couples make references to the times they sleep together or are we going to actually read the sex scenes with all the guys and Sarah or Heather. Make sense? I hope it does, lol.
I bought Cade/Marlys book and I'm about half way through, it's been good so far, but I'd still like to know in advance if these things occur in the second and third book. |

Yes, in book 2 Cade does have his "moments" with Sarah and Lora Leigh does explain how Marly feels about it, in fact she does that in both the 2nd and 3rd book to explain Sarah and Heathers feelings about the whole thing.
In all of the books you'll experience the scenes themselves, not references to what has already happened.
I hoped this helped and didn't spoil anything for you. I really enjoyed the series and from time to time I get them out and read them again. |

Personnally, I found the books disgusting and badly written, and I can't see how you can love someone and share her with your brothers. I preferred the Nauti Books series. _________________ We rule the school |

I thought it was well written, I've only read the first one though. I get the whole sharing Marly with his brothers, like I've said it's not the first 'sharing' book I've read. These guys get off on it, same way any vouyer would, there are people out there that would love to have a menage. My only problem is them still sharing when Brock and Sam bring their women home, that to me seems wrong. Maybe because I know I'd be eaten alive with jealousy and wouldn't stand for it, but eh.
Anyways, you all keep mentioning the Nauti Books. I read their descriptions on Lora's website. Can anyone tell me the order I'm suppose to read them in? |

I didn't like the August brothers, but then I don't like threesomes or more in my romances. When the guy from the first one asked Marly to sleep with a girl, that put me right off.
The Nauti series order is:
1. Nauti Boy ( was originally Nauti Buoy, written for Sanhain ebooks, but she re wrote it for Berkely, I thought Nauti Buoy was better even though shorter.)
2. Nauti Nights
3. Nauti Dreams
4. Nauti Intentions _________________ I've finally gotten the blog craze! Just my romance books ramblings really..... |

In a short story in "12 quickies of Christmas" Lora writes a short story portraying the three couples:
SPOILER:
The wives realize the men have transitioned into being solely with their wives, and the men make plans to build houses for each couple on the ranch. Marly has a baby with her husband and the other two have plans to start families after they all move out. |
