TOO FAR GONE
by Marliss Melton

RT Rating:
Category: ROMANTIC SUSPENSE
Publisher: Forever
Published: November 2008
Type: Romantic Suspense

Melton does a tremendous job constructing the corruption and danger that a conspiracy can generate. Playing by the rules will get you framed for murder or killed. A mother's frantic fear is the engine that runs this desperate race.

Summary: Single mother Ellie Stuart is struggling to make a home for her three young sons with the unexpected help of Navy SEAL Sean Harlan, who offers her one of his rental properties. Sean is disconcerted by his feelings for Ellie and her brood, especially when the boys are kidnapped and the police seem to think Ellie is responsible. What neither Sean nor Ellie realizes is that the kidnapping is at the behest of a powerful and sinister group with members in all levels of government. Finding the boys and staying alive will take all of Sean's skills and connections. (FOREVER, Nov., 384 pp., $6.99) HOT
