Midway's novel combines heated emotions and blazing sex scenes into a satisfying scorcher. BDSM scenes are varied and work well to evolve the characters' relationship. The end ties everything together a bit too quickly and neatly, but it's still an exciting tale with strong dominant/submissive themes.
Summary: Struggling to pay for her grandmother's medication and save for a house, May Davenport asks her boss, Winston Biggers, for a raise.
