Summary: The awesome Briggs pens "Alpha and Omega," the launch story for the adventures of recently turned werewolf Anna and alpha werewolf Charles, who arrives in Chicago to investigate some troubling events.
"Inhuman" is the very talented Wilks' offering, which follows Kai Michalski as dangerous circumstances force her closer to her mysterious neighbor -- who may not be human at all.
Third up is "Buying Trouble" by
rising star Chance. Claire has always believed she's a magic Null, but she soon learns things are much more complicated when a violent confrontation forces her to join forces with a lord of the Fey.
Finally, the sizzling Sunny provides "Mona Lisa Betwining," which picks up with a grieving Monere Queen Mona Lisa as she struggles to cope with dangerous new circumstances. (BERKLEY, Aug., 352 pp., $7.99)
