DON'T LOOK BACK
by Joanne Rock

RT Rating: ½
Category: SERIES
Publisher: Harlequin
Published: February 2007
Line: Harlequin Blaze

Filled with a complicated plot, as well as excellent, unexpected characters, and stirred with steaming-hot sex, Don't Look Back (4.5) is the kind of wonderful mix readers would expect from Joanne Rock. Detective Donata Casale has worked hard to reach her position in the New York Police Department. She has a chip on her shoulder, however, and fumes when she's assigned a porno case, thinking it's a way of embarrassing her. But P.I. Sean Beringer, who has a past with Donata, wants to be involved in the case. His sister was a victim of the man who's turning out "reality adult films," and Sean wants to bring him down. Rock is one of the few writers who can juggle so many balls so skillfully.
