Hi, everyone!
This is where I tell you a little about me. Hm, where should I begin? When I plagiarized LITTLE HOUSE IN THE BIG WOODS at age 7 to give my little sister a birthday present? When I skipped my college graduation to attend the Star Trek 25th Anniversary Celebration? Ooh, how about when I submitted a script for the A-Team? I could always mention my appearance on the E! Channel's Star Wars special, "Star Wars: The Force Is Back", where I served as an expert on the romance of Star Wars. I could point out that I'm one of the goddesses on thegoddessblogs.com - along with Claudia Dain, Rachel Gibson, Karen Hawkins, Sabrina Jeffries, Nicole Jordan, Julia London, and Karen Rose.
Those are the highlights, I guess. There's one point at the end of all those tales, anyway - I love stories. Telling them, reading them, writing them, watching them. You could ask my parents, and they'll confirm that from the time I learned to read, I've intended to be a writer. I have some truly awful early attempts hidden away in a secret location, but thankfully with practice and study and luck, I improved. I tend to write humorous stories, because in my opinion though love is deep and strong and everlasting, it's also at times very amusing to watch.
My first book, a Regency Romance entitled THE BLACK DUKE'S PRIZE, came out in 1995. Since then, I've written 22 additional books. The latest two, AFTER THE KISS, and BEFORE THE SCANDAL, will be out on June 24th and July 29th of this year, respectively. They're the first two books in a series about some very notorious gentlemen. Hence the subtitle...The Notorious Gentlemen.
At the moment I'm writing both Historical Romances and an ongoing Contemporary Romance series featuring a semi-reformed cat burglar and her British billionaire significant other.
