In Honor of Kathleen Winsor, My Top 16 Romance Novels
Going around the blogosphere is the idea to list your top 16 romance novels in honor or Kathleen Winsor’s birthday on October 16. Many people consider Ms. Winsor’s book, FOREVER AMBER, to be the first modern romance novel. Without this book, romance as a genre would be completely different.
So here’s my top 16:

Some of these have been favorites since I first discovered romance novels as a teenager. Others are more recent loves. It was hard to make this list – some things had to be cut and others I forgot the names of, but can think of the plot perfectly. But this is pretty close to my perfect list.

I should be writing, but here's a quick list of eleven of my all-time favs:
Judith McNaught's A Kingdom of Dreams, Whitney, My Love and Until You.
I just adore Jude Deveraux's Velvet series (Highland Velvet, Velvet Promise, Velvet Angel and Velvet Song) A Knight In Shining Armor and Remembrance.
Julie Garwood's Honor's Splendour and Rebellious Desire.
Can we invite Jude Deveraux to speak at RT?
