Archie's 68-Year Romance

After 68 years of waffling, Archie Andrews has made his choice. In Issue 600 of Archie, the iconic comic book teen gets down on bended knee to propose to Veronica Lodge -- and breaks long-suffering girl-next-door Betty's heart.
The red-haired all-American boy's choice has upset many Archie fans, who've been filling the message boards at ArchieComics.com with their opinions regarding which girl should get the ring and why.
So, who do you think deserves to live happily ever after, Betty or Veronica?

I think they're both idiots for hanging on for even a day to a guy who isn't absolutely devoted to either one. In my version, they both ditched him after graduation, went to Stanford, and are now happily settled in the valley with real men who adore them, know how to grill, and never complain about changing their share of the diapers.
Meanwhile, Archie's a college drop-out living in a junkie apartment, has a beer gut and a string of ex-girlfriends who all complain he never did learn how to kiss right.
