Lady Jane's Salon reading series 4/6/09 in NYC!
If you're anywhere near NYC and love romance, Lady Jane's Salon is the place to be tonight, April 6! Authors Alisa Kwitney and Maya Rodale will be the featured readers. Sarah Wendell, hilarious blogger and author of BEYOND HEAVING BOSOMS (The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels) will be the guest host.
Lady Jane's Salon is a brand new reading series here in NYC devoted to romance fiction and a good cause.
Founding authors Maya Rodale, Leanna Renee Hieber, and Hope Tarr, along with sponsorship from Share the Love and Beatrice.com have rolled out Manhattan's first reading series devoted exclusively to romance fiction to much acclaim!

Admission is $5.00 or one gently used romance novel. Cash bar. Proceeds to benefit Share The Love, which reaches out to women in crisis and transition.

Dear Rob and RT-ers,
Thanks so much for turning out at last night's Lady Jane's Salon to cover the event (and balance the estrogen!). I think it's fair to say we had an uber fab time was had by all. Smart Bitches Trashy Books blogger and author, Sarah Wendell was the perfect guest emcee. And author readers Alisa Kwitney and Lady Jane co-founder Maya Rodale, the latter reading sexy snippets from THE ROGUE AND THE RIVAL with her sexy EBF (English Boyfriend) Tony rocked the house--and steamed the windows.
Next month, same time, same place: the first Monday of the month, May 4th, 7-9 PM chez Madame X.
