Ready for More

First, I must say that S.J. Willing is the sweetest man EVER! He KNOWS his RT audience. The man came prepared with gifts such as adorable stuffed animals, cool notebooks and more. I was very excited to win a copy of POSEIDON VII and have it signed by him.

I attended the bookseller party Afternoon Delight, where there were lovely ladies and wonderful giveaways. Hosted by Anne Elizabeth, Angela Knight, Jade Lee, R. Garland Gray, Kathy Love, Erin McCarthy, Shiloh Walker, Diane Whiteside and an absentee Christina Skye, there were cakes decorated like bookcovers, good food and drink and roses, roses and peacock feathers!

I am getting ready for the Faery Ball shortly, and planning to wear my hand-painted silk scarves with fairies on them. FINALLY, the ultimate excuse to wear them!

And after the Ball, it's time to get down and dirty - I am attending the Afterhours Speakeasy with Christine Feehan. I haven't played Texas Hold 'Em at a table in years and I will be competing with 24 other lovely ladies for gift baskets. Wish me luck remembering when it's time to be the big blind and what the Turn means!
