Meet Our New Blogger, Nicole

Dear Readers,

It is with great pleasure I introduce to you, Nicole, the latest member of the RT online team who will be writing the RT blog. Nicole will focus on books and authors and she welcomes your comments and participation.

Nicole has been reading fiction of all kinds since she was in elementary school. In fact, she admits to reading Stephen King and romance novels when she was really too young to do so.

Not only does she read nearly everything, but she has been seen to leave bookstores with armfuls at a time -- we all can relate to that!!!

She currently works for a newspaper in Houston, Texas and lives with three cats who respect her need to cuddle while reading a good book.

She will officially begin this Friday and will post a new blog at least once a week if not more often.

Please welcome her warmly by dropping by to say hi.

Sincerely,
Carol Stacy
Publisher of Romantic Times BOOKreviews

Nicole I hope you can help me, I am a first time user but was referred here by a friend. there is this book I can't remember the title but it started with one story then jumped to another story about half way thru the book, then in the end to two people finally meet.

I can't quite put my finger on what the female role was other than a single mother, but the male role I do remember and was hoping you could help me, I can't recall his name but he worked out of town, he had come home for a weekend or visit and left with out fixing everything his wife had ask him to fix in the house. His wife and baby wear found after that on the bed as if taking a nap but really she had turned on the heater and co2 had taken both his wife and his baby life...he was tormented by this and became a loner blaming himself for their deaths.....of course in the end he meet the female and he son and all ended well. I hope this is enough to help you pin point what the title is and who the author was. I have been looking for the book for years (it was the early 80's I beleive when I first read the book and beleived it to be a Sandra Brown. after e-mailing and asking on her web site they were almost sure it was not a Sandra Brown (or one of her pen names) but unsure who the author was and ask me to pose the question here.

Hope you can help or anyone who might be reading this and can remember the Book Title or Author, this is when I first started reading and it really opened up a wonderful whole for a very lonely person. Now I am never lonely I always have a good book to read but would love this one to add to my collection that I can read over and over.
If you need to contact me please do so at texaswoman2001@yahoo.com.

Thank you so much!

Beth,

Glad you found us! I hope the Book Sleuths can help you. For my 2 cents, I think the book is Breath of Scandal by Sandra Brown. If not, it's at least a great book!

Enjoy prowling around RT!

Nicole
